The City has completed a software upgrade on all of its parking meters in order to accommodate the new generation of one- and two-dollar coins that were introduced in April.
There are approximately 2,800 parking meters in Saskatoon that were upgraded at a cost of $25,000. City-owned parking meters currently accept the following for payment: existing City Cards and Canadian quarters, one-dollar coins and two-dollar coins, including the newly minted 2012 coins.
For more information on parking, visit www.saskatoon.ca and look under “P” for parking.
