Garden Volunteer Coordinators Needed

Registration

Registration for new gardeners will be held on Saturday, April 27th right in the garden, from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m.  The fee is $25 and must be paid at the time of registration.  There will be a very limited number of plots available once last year’s gardeners have confirmed their intentions to stay on or not.  New plots are assigned on a first come first served basis.  If you like, you are welcome to fill out the form ahead of time by downloading the 2013 gardeners agreement form from the Nutana Community Association web site at www.nutana.ca  .

Returning gardeners from last year will have a chance to re-register for their plots, and will be sent a new 2012 garden agreement forms by e-mail; those without e-mail will receive a phone call.  All returning gardeners need to return the completed forms with full payment by April 20th  to the registrar’s home.  Gardeners will not be able to change plots this year unfortunately.  This year the Varsity View Community Association will be operating their community garden down the road at 12th St. and Wiggins Ave., right behind Bishop Murray School.  The contact person for that garden will be James Perkins.  He can be reached by e-mail at nic. james@sasktel.net.
